LAHORE: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that serving the nation is his government's mission, and that he will not tolerate any negligence in this regard.

The premier made the remarks during a meeting in Lahore with retired and active civil administration officers.

The conference was also attended by the Punjab chief secretary, secretaries of several departments, former chief secretaries, and leaders of various departments.

The officers briefed the premier on their experiences in governance, administration, and policy implementation during their visit.

PM Shahbaz told the officers, "I heartily congratulate you on Eid."

Pakistan is fortunate to have capable officers like you, who guide and assist the government in achieving the country's progress and prosperity.
