Amber Heard never authored an op-ed against domestic violence on her own in 2018? |
In court, shocking discoveries about Amber Heard's Washington Post op-ed have recently surfaced.
The Aquaman actor 'outsourced' the piece to an America Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) staffer rather than writing it herself.
The op-ed discusses Amber Heard's claimed abuse at the hands of her ex-husband Johnny Dep and was written to characterise herself as a "public figure symbolising domestic abuse," for those unfamiliar with the story.
The information was obtained through a leak in private discussions between Ms. Heard and Robin Shulman, the ACLU's media strategy.
Amber's "vision" for the op-ed was explained in the emails, which included statements from Ms Shulman noting, "I tried to gather your anger and rage."
In the email, he even claimed that he built the essay in a "very intriguing analysis and design" that transformed it "into an op-ed form."
The original draught of the post was also attached, and the rework included nearly three other ACLU staffers.
ACLU COO Terence Dougherty revealed this discovery during her testimony in a Fairfax, Virginia courtroom.
