PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja chooses not to leave: sources
Ramiz Raja is sitting tight for a message from the new government and will keep on standing firm on the foothold till then, at that point, say sources
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja, who has close relations with previous state leader Imran Khan, has chosen not to leave his post, regardless of an adjustment of the national government, expressed sources on Tuesday.
The sources aware of the matter said that Ramiz Raja is sitting tight for a message from the new government and will keep on standing firm on the foothold till then.
They further announced that in the event that Ramiz Raja leaves his post, previous PCB executive Najam Sethi's name will be considered for the sought after space.
As indicated by PCB's constitution, its supporter in-boss (Pakistan's PM) prescribes the executive's name to the leading group of lead representatives, who vote in favor of the up-and-comer.
Be that as it may, throughout the long term, the PCB executive changes with an adjustment of the national government.
In 2018, when Imran Khan made his administration, then PCB executive Najam Sethi was supplanted by Ehsan Mani right away.
