JoJo Siwa and Paramount Pictures have dropped out of Will Smith's 'Bounce' flick.
According to sources, Jojo Siwa's decision to leave 'Bounce' has nothing to do with Will Smith's Oscars incident.
Will Smith, an Academy Award winner, has drawn much criticism for slapping comedian Chris Rock on the Oscars stage in 2022.
Following in the footsteps of Netflix and Sony, Paramount Pictures has pulled out of the King Richard actor's forthcoming film Bounce.
In addition, after his Oscars feud in 2022, digital starlet JoJo Siwa has withdrawn from appearing in a Smith-backed film.
Variety has learned that Siwa withdrew out of the project'months ago,' and that her choice had nothing to do with Smith's incident at the Oscars.
Siwa recently spoke about this at the GLAAD Media Awards. "That project was placed on hold, then abandoned. That wasn't the case "Variety reported on the situation.
The adaptation of Smith's film, Bounce, was initially announced in 2020. Caleb Pinkett, the producer of Cobra Kai, presented the feature picture to the studio, based on Megan Shull's YA novel.
