After a successful experiment at a domestic competition, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to use Covid preventive measures in future matches.
According to a PCB official, the board would implement a no-biosecure-bubble policy for the West Indies series.

The PCB will propose to Cricket West Indies (CWI) that the series be played without any Covid preventive measures.
Covid testing will only be performed if a player or a member of the staff exhibits symptoms.
If the Covid test comes out positive, the person will be isolated for five days. All international series and domestic events in Pakistan will follow the same policy.
In the just concluded Pakistan One-day Cup, PCB did not build a bio-bubble. Individually, the players were advised to take precautions. During the tournament's 33 matches, there was not a single case of Covid.
Meanwhile, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja praised the Australian and Pakistani teams for playing exciting cricket throughout the historic 38-day visit.
