Actor Joseph Gatt from 'Game of Thrones' has been arrested for allegedly having contact with a juvenile. |
Joseph Gatt, a Game of Thrones actor, was arrested earlier this month for allegedly contacting a kid across state lines.
On April 6, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) served him with a search warrant, which led to his arrest.
According to a press release from the Los Angeles Police Department, the Banshee actor was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
According to TMZ, the LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted the initial investigation, and his bail was set at $5,000.
Gatt has denied any involvement after his release and wrote on Twitter, "I certainly want to address the totally horrible and completely false claims recently hurled against me."
"They are 100 percent categorically wrong and reckless," he added. I've verified that today's press release contains inaccuracies and misleading information. To get to the bottom of this, I'm totally collaborating with cops and the LAPD. I'm looking forward to putting my good name back on the map."
"Thank you to all of my friends and supporters who know that this is untrue and appreciate that for legal reasons I cannot respond further on social media," he said before ending.
